Review: Kabir Khan 83 attempts to recreate India's Improbable journey at the 1983 World Cup. The story is not only about underdogs Achieving Success but earning respect. The first half of the movie was Quite slow-paced, and only in the second half it Picks-up,
The movie has usual Bollywood style elements like dance songs. Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev was underwhelming and, Deepika Padukone screen presence was Negligible and the rest of the cast shined on their moments. In the end, it was always a Himalayan task to make a biopic on one of India's Greatest Cricketing Achievements Perhaps, a bridge too far.
